Change YYC is an organization by artistic individuals in Calgary who wanted to facilitate change in Calgary. As acts of violence rise against people of colour, a small fundraise evolved into an organization that has given themselves the mission to be a force for change in Calgary. During their first fundraiser in 2020 in collaboration with Springboard, CointainR Sunnyside and Artist collective Zero Future Club, they managed to raise almost $6000 for The Black project. a Leadership and empowerment program for Black Youth created by Action Dignity, a Calgary community based non-profit organization.
