It was fantastic being a part of the 2022/2023 TD Incubator cohort under SeargeantxComrade. I loved these theme of the show and It was a personal challenge for me as I rarely write about what love means to me. This showcase challenged me to write one of my most powerful poems to date.,

I wrote this article for Immigrants who feel they cannot express how much they miss home even if they are grateful to be in Canada. There will always be parts of home that I miss, especially the people. However, my honest feelings have been met these 7 years with a common reaction: “If you don’t like it, then leave”

I am so excited to be a part of the 2nd ever TD Incubator program cohort! I’m excited to learn about growing my artistry alongside such inspiring artists!

This was my second time performing for Emancipation Day organized by the official Black Lives Matter Calgary. I look forward to working with them more in the future
